No, nothing new. It was pretty general, and the questions people asked were
pretty basic. Bill Parkhurst was there also. For those who don't know,
they said that they put a config with 'most' IP and IPX addresses on the
routers before you begin. Also, passwords are preloaded and diagrams are
supplied, as well as paper, pens and colored pencils. You can use the
Windows calculator. There was a bullet point on remote proctoring, but he
didn't answer my question about that. They 'probably' will add IPv6 and
remove TR sometime soon. They're looking at something like the CCIE Assor
that Mentorlabs was working on.

As far as marking, they do use some tools to help the proctors grade more
quickly in some exams, but the proctors will not be replaced by an
autograding tool. They check the end result initially - pinging to see if
there's connectivity. Then they look at the configs to make sure you
haven't fudged anything. The proctors do track your progress during the
exam, but they don't go in and mess up your configs.

There's a guy who has 4 CCIE's. In 2000, the average CCIE made $115K. Only
one person has passed the C& S exam so far. And - relevant perhaps to this
list - there is 'more than one person' currently spending time in a federal
pen for selling lab content!

Lastly, they don't plan to give any more feedback than they do, because they
feel it would get them into training, not just assessing.
