The output you are seeing is correct and that means the call worked. If you
call a number that dosen't exist you will see a different error.

I don't know if Cisco finally released this command or not, but I know that
the command has always been a hidden one not for customer release. It does
have many problems associated with it and can have drastic effects in some
cases. As a matter of fact I am not sure if Cisco use this command for VoFR
even.
But yes don't worry if it behaves wierd as long as the call does go through
otherwise.

Dan,
Thanks for the input. Good to know others have seen this, too. Could be an
IOS thang. Debug of vofr-errors below. Says "no xmit function" (whatever
that means). But phone seems to work.
r7#debug ccswvoice vofr-errors
CCSWVOICE Vofr Error tracing is enabled
r7#csim start 2222
csim: called number = 2222, loop count = 1 ping count = 0

csim: call attempted = 1, setup failed = 1, tone failed = 0

Just an FYI...
I get this same error sometimes using it even when I KNOW it is working.
I actually have phones connected & can make & receive calls.
When I use that command it will even make the phone ring that I am calling,
but it still comes back with a fail message.

Chad,
Output from csim start is below. I can call and ring 7777 from the phone,
but csim start seems to be saying the test fails:
r2#csim start 7777
csim: called number = 7777, loop count = 1 ping count = 0
csim: loop = 1, failed = 1
csim: call attempted = 1, setup failed = 1, tone failed = 0
Thanks!
