Interesting BGP behavior...

Hi all,

I've got an interesting problem with BGP. Here's the setup...

R7 is in BGP AS 2

R1 is in BGP AS 3

The neighbor relationship has been established and everything is working fine.
I have advertised a network from R1 to R7.

I entered the following command in router config mode on R7:

"neighbor x.x.x.x default-originate"

As soon as I hit the enter key, the router spits out a bunch of error messages
and reboots itself. Unfortunately, it does not save the "default-originate"
command. :-)

Is this an "undocumented feature" (bug) within IOS 12.1(5)T9 or has SATAN
himself taken up residence inside my router? :-)
