Redistribution - FatKid 501

Greetings,

In the FatKid 501 redistribution lab, when VLAN 1 is down, R2 needs a
way to summarize the /28s of the frame cloud (to which it's connected)
to a /24 so that it can eventually be redistributed into, and accepted
by, IGRP further down the line. There are no ABRs in between and it
looks like in the solution that they were distributing it into EIGRP and
deliberately letting it feed back into OSPF where it was summarized to a
/24 on the way back in. It seems like a clever idea but I'm beginning
to suspect that this may have worked on the older IOS versions but
doesn't on the latest ones (or maybe never at all, I'm not sure). I'm
using 12.1.11. At any rate I was unable to get this technique to work
and wondered if anyone else had been able to get it to work. It's a
good lab to tinker around with if you haven't tried it out yet. (Just
trying to con you into setting it up..).

George
