There is no problems in that...what you need is to check on CCO...look for
PPPOE - That is what you router is doing (PPP over ethernet).
It is a widely used design for serviceproviders, so there are a lot of
different documents that will point you in the right direction...
What make is your router?

address dynamically. Is there a way to plug this DSL connection into a

1. The need to login to make a connection for the ISP to hand out the IP
address and
2. Dynamic addressing on interface E0.
