I have Version 5.01 of WhatsUp Gold and cannot get the trap notification to
work. Alerts work fine.
I have trap handling enable globally.
On a particular device, I have alerts, sound and notification enabled. I
have the notification set to default sound and have the trap field blank,
which should cause a notification on any trap.
I have the device set to send snmp traps to the WhatsUp Gold host and indeed
I see the traps appear in the SNMP log file on the WhatsUp Gold host.
But I get no notification sound when I shut an interface to generate a trap.
Any ideas?
