Depends upon the router models that you have ... if you have 2500 series
models then it still depends (an instructor's favorite answer to a
student's question) because you could have 1 - 8mb flash module right
now in which case you would need to purchase 1 more 8 mb flash memory
module or you could have 2 - 4mb flash modules instead then in that case
you would have to purchase two - 8 mb flash modules. Do a "show flash
chips" or "show flash all" and the IOS will tell you what you have or
just open the router. In case of the dram memory, again in a 2500, you
must purchase a 16mb 72-pin 36-bit parity FPM 80ns memory module. You
will find plenty of both on ebay.
