Ability to ping all/ local interfaces in all frame relay hubspoke scenario.

According to page 126 of Caslow, Edition : 1, there are 4 Scenarios:

1. All physcial interfaces : physical inetrface at the hub and the physical ine
trface at the spokes
2. All subinterfaces: Multipoint subinterface at the hub and point-to-point sub
interfaces at the spokes
3. Physical interface at the hub: logical point-to-point subinterface at the sp
okes, and
4. Logical multipoint subinterface at the hub: Physical interfaces at the spoke
s

With the configurations that follow, is everyone able to ping all interfaces in
cluding the local inetrface? Is it necessary to have a framerelay map statement
in the local interface to be able to ping it?

There could be several varitions to the above possible.

If there are any variations, is there any comprehensive literature that one can
 look at?

For OSPF, according to page 125, a popular configuration is the point to multi
point.

For each of these above 4 scenarios or more (if there happens to be , any) is
there a documentation for a comprehensive coverage, which covers OSPF configura
tion over Framerelay?

Would anybody be able to shed some light of the network type for each of the ab
ove scenarios using the "IP, OSPF, Network" statements?

Any help on this will be most welcome,

TIA for all the inputs !!,

Sanjeev
