Wouldn't either split horizon or dist list out on the part of EIGRP work?
If ISIS I imagine you are trying to use dist list in at interface or dist
list out in the ISIS routing protocol? Which way in ISIS did not work?

I was trying to filter routes that were redistributed into EIGRP from coming
back into ISIS
