CRTL-^ sequentially until it stops... usually two times will do it...
that is hold down the control key, then press shift and 6 at once. But
remember that CONTROL KEY GOES DOWN FIRST. I have seen too many people
try and hit them all at once only to have it fail! :-))

What i do is hold CONTROL and SHIFT and then hit the 6 key repeatedly
until it stops.

On the same note, remember that if you have a few connections open
sequentially (like telnet to R1 then telnet to R2) you can get to any
particular router or device in the chain by selectively pressing CTRL-^
and then X to get to the router you need. CTRL-^-X will get you all the
way back to the original ROUTER/device. CTRL-^-CTRL-^ will get you to
the second device in the telnet chain and so on.
