Group,
Just took my lab yesterday, got my score today and here's some advice;
I nailed the standard bridging/routing stuff because of my heavy focus on
the popular books and labs everybody uses. However I was not fully prepared
for the little extra's in the IOS that would have put me over the top. A
couple of points here and there, and I would have my number first time
through. But I just missed because I didn't dig down into the IOS.
I won't make that mistake again. All the answers to the questions I didn't
know are on Cisco's web site. I may have been able to find a couple of
things from the DOC CD, but if you have to spend any real time looking for
things, you are already in trouble. Here is the link from Cisco's site to
IOS 12.1 Configuration/Command Reference guides;

When you feel that you have done all the practice Labs and you are ready for
the real thing, go through all the IOS guides on the link above and see how
well you know all the nook's and crannies.
I'm printing these out as we speak so I can go through them page by page for
the next 30 days until my next attempt when I'm gonna SLAM this sucker!
Until then, best wishes to my brothers in arms.
Scott
