have you try the rip v2 ? if rip v2 work ok.you should focus on why the
switch port connect to R5 don't forward the broadcast frame.btw. maybe you
can connect another pc runing sniffer on same vlan (vlan10) to see whether
it can capture the rip/igrp's routing table update.
