Hi, Group,
I am doing BGP P196 of Jeff's volume II. I met some
problem here.
In router Stowe, I set an ORIGIN route-map which setup
an origin to incomplete for a aggregate route. But the
problem is that I don't get the result as expected. AT
router Sugarbush, I get still 192.168.1.254 as the
next hop ( best ). and I see the local preference is
not correct also. the configuration is identical to
the book. my sugarbush bgp table is as follows:
***********************************************
Suguarbush#sh ip bgp
BGP table version is 55, local router ID is
192.168.1.253
Status codes: s suppressed, d damped, h history, *

Origin codes: i - IGP, e - EGP, ? - incomplete

I am not sure what really happens after hours of work.
it seems that the lower local preference is preferred.
(this is strange).
As always, any help is appreciaed
regards
michael
