Is non-ENTERPRISE Image ok for Lab ?

Hi all,
   I have 2500's with 16R/8F mostly and so I am
compressing the image in most of them. The latest
Enterprise+Plus+FW+Ipsec Image that I can compress is
12.0(19) and short of the 12.1 requirement for the
lab. Therefore, I was thinking in working/compressing
a non-enterprise image such as "desktop"
IP/IPX/AT/DEC/FW PLUS that would fit.
   Am I missing any technology that I need for the
CCIE?
 I will appreciate any input.
