CET is outdated technology. I would not recommend spending much time on it.

Subject: CET or IPSEC

I am in the middle of building my final (very large) study list, and am
wondering if it is worth it to put CET on the list. I have IPSec in their,
but am not sure if we might see CET on the lab. It is possible, and the
config is seems pretty easy to look up on the cd.

I also noticed many references to 7000 series routers in the config
examples, that is the only reason I may be questioning it.

Thanks, and only opinions no NDA violations please.
