Carl,
If you can cancel this course and go on the 2 week Horizon course then I would
definitely do it. I have had the blessing of attending both the Azlan and the
Horizon course. My honest opinion is that John passed hi CCIE many moons ago a
nd has not kept up to date with what is happening in the land
of the lab. Horizon however definitely have. I feel that I learned at least 6
times more at the Horizon lab. They covered absolutely everything there was t
o cover.
Azlan as has been suggested skip over quite a number of things i.e. voice, atm,
IPX, IOS features.
If you can't cancel it then try to get John to get his finger out of his ass an
d do work that you want him to do.
Good luck

Subject: OT: Azlan in UK
Hi,
Has anyone attended the Azlan CCIE Lab Prep. Course part II in the UK?
I'm taking the course soon - the course overview states that X25,
DECnet, LAT and other irrelevancies are discussed but when I rang I was
told that this document is out of date (Oh really!) I'm worried that
the course might be dated. Any opinions from those who have attended or
plan to?
Many thanks,
Carl
