Just wanted to let you guys know if you haven't seen this:

The new "Hardware Troubleshooting Index" page on the Cisco Technical
Assistance Center (TAC) Web Site brings you a suite of documents
that can help prevent downtime due to unnecessarily replacing the
most common routers, switches, and modems.

Organized by Cisco platform, the resources on the "Hardware
Troubleshooting Index" page help you determine if a problem is due
to hardware failure. If you do have a hardware problem, these
documents further assist in pinpointing the exact component that
needs to be replaced.
