http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/105/52.html
describes solving the VLSM problem with static routes.
Lab 8 has a VLSM scenario where the IGRP network has a
longer
subnet mask than the OSPF network. It is resolved by
using passive-int
under IGRP for interfaces that are running OSPF and
denying these same
networks from being redistributed from IGRP back into
OSPF.
What are the advantages of each approach?
Can both approaches be used in all scenarios if the
directions do not
prevent using either approach?
Which labs reflect the changes made by Cisco to remove
certain
technologies in the CCIE lab:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/625/ccie/certifications/routing.html
Any suggestions on how to prepare differently given
the change to lab exam
change from 2 days to 1 day.
Thank you.
Bill
