Tony,
        Unless you already have the configuration (ip address) for the
management ethernet port the only way to access the switch is with the 8pin
DIN serial cable. this is the only way to access the switch without knowing
the IPs configured.

You should probably check bay in hopes that someone might be selling a
cable. They're typically sold with a switch(the c50's).
