Ive recently acquired a Xyplex for use as a terminal server in my home lab.
Its not obvious how to get it up and running, or if I even have the parts I
need. My first-order questions are:
What cable do I use to establish a terminal session? Ive tried my Cisco
DB9 adapter with a straight-thru and with a rolled cable.
My Xyplex doesnt have a Flash card. Does it need one? Where can I obtain
an OS, if it doesnt have one?
I know that several people on the list have these things, but my specific
questions are not answered by the archives. If you can offer assistance,
would you please contact me off-list? My address is bstewart@conninc.com
<mailto:bstewart@conninc.com> . Thanks.
Regards,
Brent Stewart
