Also useful is the Hardware/Software compatibility matrix tool. It will
tell you what is the minimum version to support a certain hardware device
such as NMs, WICs, etc. Real useful if you've ever upgraded an IOS on a
3640 with room for only image, and found the new image didn't support your
NM-2FE2W. Speaking from experience....

Subject: Finding IOS Versions
For those of you who haven't used it yet - Cisco's TAC website has a tool
called the IOS Feature Navigator, which is great for finding out about
different IOS versions and their features. It's quite powerful, and can be
searched via Release, Platform, Feature Set, or individual feature (e.g.
BGP4, DLSW+, etc...), or any combination of the 4.
You'll need a CCO login to access this tool @
http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/FeatureNav/FN.pl
or Under Tool Index from the main TAC page.
HTH,
Craig
