You need to request the new date and book it and the application will
automatically drop the original date for you.

Whew, close one! I checked for dates and saw like 7 available seats, all in
the second week of February. So I dropped my June date, and shot back to
the date search page. To my amazement, only the 1 Feb 12 seat was
available. Next after that was August something. How 6 seats appeared and
disappeared in a few seconds is beyond me. I guess be careful about
dropping your date, especially if your 'Net connection is iffy.
