If you receive the following e-mail message:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------
Your mail cannot be delivered to the following address(es):

ccielab@groupstudy.com, 550 Access denied

Please check the above address(es) and then try again.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is because the admin at public.guangzhou.gd.cn has no idea how to setup a
mail server correct and is looping old messages back to the list. This
happens ever-so-often. I have written some scripts to filter out looped
messages on the list. Because this particular domain was so problematic, I
added additional precautions of preventing that domain from talking with the
SMTP software. Hence the error message.

This was done months ago. Someone from that domain subscribed to the CCIE Lab
list during the last update. Now that they are receiving e-mail messages
again, the loop occurred. But because I had this additional block on the SMTP
server, they were not being rejected at the server and not through the script.

What I did not realize was the bounced messages would be returned, not to
public.guangzhou.gd.cn but instead to the original sender!
Public.guangzhou.gd.cn is just acting as a mail relay.

Hence you may receive a message from GroupStudy with the above error. They
should stop soon.

Take care,

Paul
