Loving SNMP

I am finding SNMP to be a very useful addition to my lab studies, and I
highly recommend it to anyone who does not already use it in their home
lab. Having a simple trap watcher and a simple SNMP manager found
through Asbjorn Hojmarks excellent website
(http://www.hojmark.org/networking/ ) really has helped me to see
problems that come and go in the network. I know how useful this is in
the networks at work (like at my last job), and am sorry it took so long
to get this up and running on my home labs. I plan to add SNMP to most
of my larger practice labs. Without it, I could have loops forming
intermittently that a simple ping script might not catch. Which means I
could think I have done a lab correctly when it is still screwed up.
This is great for learning even though it will not be available in the
lab exam.

Thanks, Mr. Hojmark.
