Does anyone know of any caveats to watch out for if studying using the
virtual-tokenring interface instead of the actual token ring interface. I
have 2 token ring routers and a 3920 but in most lab scenarios, it seems
that for the purposes of the lab, the virtual interfaces meet the
objective. Of course it is important to also practice with the 3920 and
real bri interfaces, but I'm just wondering if I'm overlooking any issues
related to using virtual-tokenring for the majority of study. Sometimes it
saves quite a bit of time in setup of the next practice lab, to be able to
not have to shuffle things around to get the physical token ring in the
"right place" on the diagram, but I don't to miss something key.
5 weekends left.....
Thanks,
Troy
