Sounds like you are running a lab scenario and want to delete DLCI's just to
see if you can without doing it on the switch. Thing is, if you are
connected to a frame switch and you are receiving LMI info from the switch,
then you will always get the DLCI's that have been configured on the switch
for that interface. Whether they become active or not, you will still
receive them. If you stop getting LMI info on the interface, then the DLCI's
that had been active or inactive will be marked as DELETED when you do a sh
frame pvc. You may
have seen your DLCI as DELETED before and wondered how that happened and
could you do the same thing yourself on the DLCI's of your choosing. If you
don't want to receive
a DLCI, shut the interface or delete it from the switch that is sending it
to you.
