- If the token ring interface can set to full duplex, then yes, other
wise no.
- Since you have the MAU, you may do the following:
- Plug it in the MAU, until it state is UP/UP.
- Now you can try the cross cable to connect the two router.
- Token ring using pin 3(tx+),4(rx-),5(rx+),6(tx-) of utp, cross cable
will be
3-6, 4-5, 5-4, 6-3.

I have theory but no practical work on these devices, RO is coonect to
RI of other MAU to
expand the ring. Double connection for backup.
If you can identify the RI to port 1, break it. loop the RI, loop the
port 1.
identify the port 4 to port 5 interconnection, break it, loop the port
4, loop the port 5.
Now you should have port 1 to 4 in one ring, port 5 to 8 in a second
ring.
