I have used the Lantronix in the past for console access to the routers. I
believe we used a straight thru cable. I do not quite remember, but keep
working at it because I know it works and it is a great product. Try a
straight cable with rj45 and then roll it if that does not work.

Also, when you do a show port, be sure and set the Access to either remote
or dynamic. If the access is set to local it won't work for telnetting to
routers. Also, port 0 is the telnet port but I do not believe there is any
need to change anything with port 0.
Lastly, try another telnet program if you are using the windows based. I
seem to rememebr some issue there. We used procomm.

Anyone using a Lantronix terminal server have some words of advice? I still
have not been able to connect to a cisco console port. I have configured IP
and set the port speeds but no luck so far...
