For any of you familiar with Lab 8 I just want to verify if my thinking
is correct.
I redistribute BGP into OSPF on R1 but my OSPF still will not know of
the routes for R8 (Hence the solution puts a static route on R5)
If I redistribute BGP into OSPF on R6 then my OSPF will not know of the
routes on R7

So according to the first scenario and I redistribute BGP into OSPF on
R1 the reason my OSPF will not put the routes
>From R8 is because they are pointing to a different OSPF neighbor which
I did not learn the routes from. Or the router ID for OSPF from where
I'm learning them from R6
Is not the same as the BGP router ID R1 from which Im redistributing the
routes from.
I'm I correct in this thinking or am I in left field.... Really I could
take it, let me know..
7 Days to go
