Correct me if I'm wrong. For question 1, you actually need different bridge
numbers for r1 and r2. For question 2, the virtual ring number does not
have to be the same. However, you usually want this to be the same on r1
and r2 to prevent explorers coming in from the WAN to go back out on the WAN
again.
