"PPP Multilink" is not required to use both B channels on an ISDN line. You
would only need the "dialer load-threshold" This I know for a fact.
What I don't know is exactly what "PPP Multilink " does. I know that it
"bonds" the two B channels, but does that mean it alternates packets or does
it actually break up packets and send part down each B channel????
I have consulted TAC several times but have never gotten an explanation that
satisfied me. Can any provide assistance?
As a side note, you may run into an ISP here or there that requires "PPP
Multilink" if they have it turned on. I think most are able to
autonegotiate.
