Mannan/Hans,

Mannan: i tried ur solution and it works.May be we
will not have such a scenario really in real world. I
tried having two OSPF process and Redistributing them.

External routes from one process (learnt thru RIP)
were redistributed into another process on a ABR.I
applied route maps to prevent redistribution feedback
and loops.

Hans:I tried two scenarios
1. NSSA ASBR/ABR on same box.
2. NSSA ABR and NSSA ABR on different boxes.

I ran across something while doing this WHICH IS MY
NEXT QUESTION/SCENARIO in my next mail.

I tried area range and summary address
combinations. What i have observed is as follows:

For area range to work it must be ABR(as expected) and
the range must be in the area specified in
command.Networks from different areas dont work.

For external routes and summary address the cmd must
be done on ASBR and the networks must be on locally
learnt on that box not learnt thru another ASBR/ABR
path.

Let me know if u find anything different.

Thanks for u answers and ideas.
Annu.
