I have a cat 5 running version 5.2 and the priority 0 command made it the
root of the spanning tree. It wasn't before I changed the priortiy.

The only problem with 0 is this means that it cannot be the root bridge or
considered in choosing a root bridge. 1 is the lowest value and highest
priority for a device to be root.
