show dlsw reachablilty

Hi group ,

R1 ---------------R2
Please help to confirm the below.

1. On R1, i configured " dlsw icanreach mac-address xxxx.xxxx.xxxx "
     R1 is actually telling R2 that it can reach the macaddress specified.
This is done during the dlsw peering process.

2. What if i do a " show dlsw reachablilty on R1 ?
     Wat actually does it do ?
    I am thinking that it will tell those Hosts behind R1 that it can reach
the mac address in the "show dlsw reachability " output .

Am i correct ?
