I got it less than a month before my 1st (successful) attempt in RTP, so
maybe it contributed to my success. There's not much (if any) info a CCIE
candidate wouldn't know, but having it all condensed and "cheat-sheeted" for
you is helpful (depending on how comprehensive your personal notes are, and
if you've typed up example configs for yourself for a multitude of router
features). It's something that you would probably use the day (or two)
before taking the lab just to refresh your mind on the config steps to take
for a bunch of different subject areas.
There are some errors (in multicast I can remember for sure, where he does
the configuration for the Auto-RP and Mapping Agent on the same router, as
if they have to be the same router... I don't think he even mentions Mapping
Agent), but they seem more semantic (so maybe I'm being anal) than
functional.
