Stretching my memory... it depends on when it was manufactured, and if
it's prom has already be changed.
The original accesspro's run a special reduced size and function IOS image,
with it's own prom. You could not put a true cisco 2500 image in
it. That was changed after a year, and then they used the same prom and
images as a true 2500. They were discontinued after that second year.
Check the image that's in it by it's name, if it's a standard 2500 image,
you're good to upgrade, if it's a special accesspro image, then you'll
probably need the prom.
