Hey a question I can answer!
Each BRI B channel has its own number aka associated spid. Thus you can set
up two dialer map statements. Telco however generally will put the two
numbers/spids in a hunt group which will allow you to generally use one
dialer map statement. If for some reason you are having a problem getting
the second channel up, you can add the second dialer map statement pointing
to the second spid/number. Or you can try reversing the single dialer map
statement to point to the second number in case telco used it in establishing
the hunt group.
BRI's with telco's are terrible in my opinion. At lest in SBC/Ameritech
land. Always something screwed up. The question is, how fast can you
figure out what they did wrong and compensate for it!
