I don't have token ring to test, you are using R2 as a SR/TLB bridge and
does not
run any routing protocol, right ?

In this situtaion,
R1 presume that it is connected to R3 using ethernet.
R3 presume that it is connected to R1 using token ring.
R2 is doing the magic.

OSPF hello for broadcast device will using multicast address 224.0.0.5
as destination, we have to know what is the mac address it is using at
token ring for
the IP multicast.

Since the media type is different, I think you has to verify the
interface parameter
at both R1 and R3, ensure that hello is send at r1 and R3

Subject: SR/TLB and OSPF

Hi There,
I have 3 routers, R2 is doing SR/TLB. R1 and R3 are acting as two hosts
on
the same subnet and I can ping between them.

R1--eth----R2-----tr-----R3

R1 can receive OSPF hello's from R3, but R3 cannot receive hello's from
R1.

Is it possible to run ospf between R1 and R3?
Thanks
Rx
