One way I can think of would be to create two different scopes on one
server then put reservations in each scope for all the systems. You can
manually dictate the amount of systems for each scope. The only issue is
that it would be time intensive, especially if you have a lot of
computers on your network.

The other way of course would be to subnet your network to about a 50-50
split and create 1 scope for each subnet.

Subject: MHSRP

Trying to think of the best way to assign two different gateways for
MHSRP using DHCP. So that half the computer on a subnet use one gateway
and the other half use the other gateway.

I know that I could have two different DHCP servers with two scopes and
in each one point to a different gateway. But then how do you control
which DHCP server provides the address so that you get about a 50-50
split?

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Nathan
