You use static mapping(RFC 1483):

int atm0.1
ip add x.x.x.x
atm pvc VCD VPI VCI aal5snap
atm pvc . ... .. ..
map-group xxxxxxx

Subject: Bootcamp # 20 Classical IP over ATM -- the new way.

I am just curious. How do you configure a classical IP over ATM using the
"new way"? Bootcamp lab 20 has the old way.

I found this link http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/121/ipoveratm.html
. Is the configuration below enough? Am I missing anything else?

interface ATM1/1/0.200 multipoint
ip address 2.2.2.1 255.255.255.0
no ip directed-broadcast
pvc 2/200
inarp 5
protocol ip 2.2.2.2 broadcast
