My experience with bradshawlabs

Hi all.

Just finished my night shift on bradshaw labs (actually day shift for me as
I live on the other side of the globe) and thought I'd share my experience.

The lab is very well equipped with 11 routers at your disposal, an ls1010, a
cat 3920 and even VOIP setup with modems connected to them to simulate
phones which allow you to dial with them and test your VOIP setup.

The charge of 75$ per half day (rack #1 as above, less for a rack with no
ATM and 3920 and many volume discounts) I found to be more then reasonable
for the access to such a well equipped lab, all the equipment was available
on time with no configuration to get rid of and (a very nice touch), the lab
page provides a quick setup for all the ccbootcamp labs which allowed me to
start doing the 'real' (as of the new test format) lab within minutes.

A few small mistakes on the quick configs did not annoy me much and can be
seen as part of the 'build in troubleshooting' I guess, none of them was
very problematic to solve but they did creep up in interesting places which
kept me on my toes.

Well - that's about it, I feel I got a lot out of the experience, especially
the chance to work with the 3920 and the VOIP cards which I do not have
(strangely enough I do have an ls1010).

Hope you find this of value.

Cheers

Omer.
