lines) to do the asyc labs and was thinking that ISDN PBX can do the same
job for me. The only prob. that arrises was of the internal bri....

average cost of this box.

I use a small PBX that has two internal BRI Ports and one external
BRI port to the PSTN (and 8 analogue ports). These PBX's are quite
common here in germany. It speaks 'Euro-ISDN', so i have to use
'basic-net3' as ISDN switch type and it is not neccessary to use SPIDs.
The brand that i use is 'Ackermann', Model Euracom 182. Euracom 180
has just the external BRI, Euracom 181 has one external and one internal
BRI, Euracom 182 has one external and two internal BRIs. These PBX's
are also sold as rebranded Products by Alcatel (don't know the Model No.
and Quante (IS-1, IS-2, IS-3). There are also some other brands available
that have basically the same capability. And this box connects my analogue
phone and fax to the PSTN too ...

No need for an ISDN simulator here. The PBX would also work without an
ISDN link to the PSTN.

Reinhold
