All,

I have no ATM experience and my CCIE lab is in 4 months but I am hoping to
have access to some equipment in our work lab.

However I am unsure what to ask for so I can practise ATM for the lab. I
have looked at configs to create ATM PVCs and they seem quite simple, create
a map list appley it to the interface using a map-group and create atm pvc
VC VPI VCI on the interface. If the network is set up as hub and spoke
partial PVCs without using subinterface your problems with IGPs are the same
as with Frame Relay.

Is this correct? Is there anything else I should be practising? I was
planning to use 3 routers with OC-3 interface with a FORE ATM switch in the
middle create 2 PVC and get all 3 routers exchange routes while running OSPF
then EIGRP, IPX EIGRP etc etc.

As I have no access to voice equipment I am planning to be strong on
everything else and just miss out any voice thrown at me in the lab. Would
this be a mistake? Is there any point renting rack time to get reasonable on
voice when Cisco state there is no partial credit?

I look forward to receiving any advise people can give.
