Albert,
    Odds are very high that's deferred code, there were quite a few
"issues" in the earlier 12.1T code, not too surprising you found a problem
in that code. I would never suggest anything but the most recent T code
and it really shouldn't be used once mainline is available in the next
version. i.e. 11.3 T became 12.0 mainline (which only includes bug fixes),
12.0T became 12.1 mainline (which only includes bug fixes), 12.1T became
12.2 mainline, which only includes bug fixes, etc.

note: "only includes bug fixes" isn't an absolute, some things can get
added but mainline code isn't meant for new features not card drivers,
that's why it's typically more stable.
