Dave, I think I did not understand your question clearly. Are you asking
the solutions for the physical reachability and then asking for the
procedures to upgrade ?. I do upgrade redundant SUP3 Cats. If you like I
can give you the procedures for that. But I am not sure about the
reachability issue. Do you have Termservers, or modem dial in to the site.
Are you only going to upgrade the IOS, or configs as well? I guess you can
send the new flash cards with new IOS and the configs to the site. Once the
box boots with the new image, when you change the existing config to boot
from the external flash card, you can clear the config and reboot with the
new one on the flash card again. So, please let me know what exactly you
are after, I have the step by step procedures for these upgrades.
