Hi all,
I've got an advanced multicast question. I have multicasting currently
going to one particular PC via crossover cable from a router that I do not
control, but is using sparse-dense-mode and filters all other joins except
the one IP address.
I want to redirect that traffic to another network by replacing the PC
with a router. I've tried NAT and "dense-mode proxy-register", along with
some hard-coded "ip mroute" statements to get the traffic to forward.
However, the traffic stays pruned and when I debug ip mpacket, I keep
getting:
Nov 8 16:06:46: IP: s=192.0.3.44 (FastEthernet1/0) d=224.0.88.175 len
1412, RPF lookup failed ps
Any ideas for redirecting multicast traffic?
Jerry
