nobody will tell you what those "obscure" topics are,
they would break the NDA if they did. Know everything not
listed on the ccie-not-in-the-exam list and you'll do fine.

 From what I understand the new format have loopback
and LAN ip-addresses pre-configured, WAN ip's you have
to configure yourself, but they are on the network schmatics
you are given.

For the contents of the examn i belive it's the same as the 2day
format. But, without the addressing part and the troubleshoting
part. Which gives you tasks for about 1,25 days to complete in
1 day. Be fast!
