I am in the very fortunate position of having some very nice equipment in my
test lab. Specifically I have 4 6509 switches with MSFC's (router modules)
in them as well as a 7206 w/ ATM interfaces, a bunch of 2500's, and
hopefully soon an LS1010 (Well actually it is all "backup" equipment, but I
can haul it really fast out of my lab if something dies... ;.>). On top of
that, the 6509's are all full with 10/100 and gigabit blades (no flexwan's
though.. ;.<). So here is my question: Can I do anything special with the
6509's? I figure I have about 250 interfaces per switch if I load "Native
IOS" on them... Does that open up any new lab scenarios for me? Anyway to
tunnel frame-relay over ethernet for a massive frame mesh?! <.: I welcome
any creative thoughts and ideas. Thx!
