This is a follow-up to a previous question someone had. I had asked a
colleague (and bgp guru) about the apparent bug when doing
redistribution in bgp where:
"redistribute eigrp 1 metric 5" would set the metric to 5 for eigrp
learned routes but not directly connected networks that were included in
bgp (this is a problem with bgp, not eigrp nor any other protocol).
I had confirmed it in the lab, as did my colleague, and he has filed
CSCdv76809. It's broken... The workaround is to do either
"redistributed connected" or to use a route-map when doing
redistribution and set the metric there.
