Did you check the IOS version on the router? Could it have been 12.0.11?

I disagree. I had to configure a feature that I only found in the 12.1
documentation. It was not listed in the 12.0 at all.

The 12.1 IOS isn't used in the lab. The lab currently uses 12.0 IOS. The
12.1 IOS will not be introduced until 11/15.
